More than 35 million people have died of HIV or AIDS related illnesses over the past 40 years, making it one of the most destructive pandemics in history. Today, reiterated by guidance from the World Health Organization, we know that <b>Undetectable = Unstransmittable<\/b> which equals <b>Zero Risk<\/b>. This means that people diagnosed with HIV, who remain on proper and consistent medication and treatment to keep the HIV virus down to an undetectable level on lab tests, cannot transmit the virus and as a result, carry zero risk of spreading the virus to others.<\/p><h3>GLAAD The highest rates of new diagnoses continue to occur in the South.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><h4><strong>According to Federal Data from the National HIV\/AIDS Strategy (<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hiv.gov\/federal-response\/national-hiv-aids-strategy\/national-hiv-aids-strategy-2022-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NHAS<\/a><strong>)<\/strong><\/h4><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">New HIV infections in the U.S. have declined in recent years, after a period of general stability.
