Kennedy has baseless theories that link<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2023\/07\/13\/politics\/robert-kennedy-jr-chemicals-water-children-frogs\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> environmental chemicals<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to homosexuality or gender dysphoria.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Supports<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/rfk-jr-opposes-gender-affirming-care-hormone-therapy-minors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> a ban on transgender health care<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for minors, a position that contradicts medical consensus. Health care for transgender people and youth is<\/span><a href=\"\/factsheet-evidence-based-healthcare-transgender-people-and-youth\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> supported<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by every major medical association and leading health authority.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/robertkennedyjr\/status\/1787660506850885800?s=46&amp;t=XLoM_1tR6h1g23CxmiUpUQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tweeted misinformation<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> about transgender health care for young people including that it involves \u201ccastration drugs (puberty blockers) and surgical mutilation.\u201d This is baseless.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/newrepublic.com\/post\/173831\/hell-robert-f-kennedy-jr-speaking-moms-liberty-summit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Agreed<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to be a featured speaker at a<\/span><a href=\"\/gap\/moms-liberty\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Moms for Liberty<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> event called \u201cJoyful Warriors\u201d in 2023. Moms for Liberty is an anti-LGBTQ, a Southern Poverty Law Center-designated<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.splcenter.org\/fighting-hate\/extremist-files\/group\/moms-liberty\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> extremist group<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, that purports to defend so-called \u201cparental rights.\u201d He later pulled out of the event citing a<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/archive.today\/cH2vs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> changed schedule.<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bugeyedandshameless.com\/p\/joe-rogan-and-robert-f-kennedy-jr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Repeated a falsehood<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> promoted by Peter Duesberg writing, \u201cmost HIV-infected Africans showed no sign of illness.\u201d This is a lie. Estimates of tens of millions have died from AIDS in Africa over recent decades, and AIDS is now the<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.prb.org\/resources\/the-status-of-the-hiv-aids-epidemic-in-sub-saharan-africa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> leading cause of death in sub-Saharan Africa<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.advocate.com\/politics\/robert-f-kennedy-jr-poppers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Claimed<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that a common herbicide causes gender dysphoria. They oppose health care for transgender youth, claiming these can lead to serious long-term health consequences.
