Nava Mau\u2019s Historic Emmy Nomination for <\/b>Baby Reindeer<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Nava Mau is the first transgender woman to be nominated for an Emmy in the category for best supporting actress in a limited series. The Mexican actress, filmmaker, and activist who plays Teri in Netflix\u2019s hit show <\/span>Baby Reindeer<\/span><\/i>, spoke to <\/span>NBC News<\/span><\/a> about the show and her historic nomination. In <\/span>the interview<\/span><\/a>, Mau revealed how touching it is to be approached by people who share \u201chow much it means for them to see a trans woman, a Latina woman, on screen who is empowered, who is entitled to her own needs, who firmly and successfully sets boundaries and ultimately protects her vitality.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
