El amor no tiene receta<\/span><\/i> (in English, <\/span>Love Has No Recipe<\/span><\/i>) is a Mexican telenovela that co-stars Mexican actress, singer, model and conductor, Coco M\u00e1xima, as Nandy. In an <\/span>interview with People<\/span><\/a> En Espa\u00f1ol, Coco describes her character as \u201cuna chica trans maravillosa, bien divertida y bien fiestera, pero eso s\u00ed, muy responsable y bien chambeadora\u201d (a marvelous trans girl, who is really fun and loves to party, but is also very responsible and hardworking).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Las Top News reports that this is a historic role<\/span><\/a> for M\u00e1xima, as the first openly trans actress cast in a TelevisaUnivision novela.
