We trumpet it as a moral virtue.\u2026 These surgical procedures are so brutal and so experimental that they’re\u2014I’m going to say it again\u2014they’re worse than what the Mengele types did in the concentration camps in the thirties and forties. And that’s a pretty goddamn low bar.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2014Promoted his interview with<\/a> Elon Musk who said his estranged daughter was “killed” by the “woke mind virus” after he was tricked into agreeing to gender-affirming care procedures. Musk called transgender health care “child mutilation and sterilization.” His adult child is alive.<\/p>\n

\u2014Called<\/a> Vice President Kamala Harris “DEI Barbie.”<\/p>\n

\u2014Said<\/a> a hormone expert and trans rights advocate had gone “from deluded to evil” for describing the use of prescribed puberty blockers.<\/p>\n

\u2014<\/span>Suspended<\/span><\/a> by Twitter for his aggressive targeted anti-trans harassment of actor Elliot Page. The account was <\/span>restored<\/span><\/a> after Elon Musk\u2019s takeover of Twitter.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2014YouTube <\/span>removed<\/span><\/a> an anti-trans video interview between Peterson and \u201cgender critical\u201d activist and author Helen Joyce for violating the platform\u2019s hate speech policy. Joyce called trans people \u201c<\/span>demonic<\/span><\/a>\u201d in the video.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2014In June 2022 YouTube demonetized three Jordan Peterson videos for violating their community guidelines: \u201c<\/span>Twitter Ban,<\/span><\/a>\u201d \u201c<\/span>Doctors & Psychotherapists: Butchers & Liars<\/span><\/a>,\u201d and \u201c<\/span>Butchers and Liars Reprise<\/span><\/a>.\u201d The latter video especially targets trans youth, their families and healthcare providers with inflammatory mischaracterizations of trans healthcare. In the video, Peterson makes inflammatory references to the genitals of trans children, saying of trans youth that surgeons are cutting off <\/span>\u201ctheir breasts and their balls<\/span><\/a>.\u201d The video concludes with the line, “Man the barricades and keep the degenerates away from the children.” In fact, transgender healthcare is recognized as the standard of care by every major medical association. An <\/span>HRC Foundation report<\/span><\/a> notes, \u201cTransgender and non-binary people typically do not have gender-affirming surgeries before the age of 18. In some rare exceptions, 16 or 17 year-olds have received gender-affirming surgeries in order to reduce the impacts of significant gender dysphoria, including anxiety, depression, and suicidality. However, this is limited to those for whom the surgery is deemed clinically necessary after discussions with both their parents and doctors.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2014Promotes the <\/span>discredited<\/span><\/a>, unproven theory of \u201crapid onset \u2026 gender dysphoria\u201d and <\/span>said<\/span><\/a> without basis, \u201cFor every [transgender] kid you save, you will doom a hundred.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2014Claimed that non-binary identities are not valid<\/a>, \u201cbecause there\u2019s no scientific justification for them.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2014Blamed support for trans people for a rise in Nazism<\/a>. He said, \u201cI\u2019ve studied Nazism for four decades. And I understand it very well. And I can tell you there are some awful people lurking in the corners. They\u2019re ready to come out. And if the radical left keeps pushing the way it\u2019s pushing, they\u2019re going to come.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2014Claimed that trans people are a sign of the dissolving of culture<\/a>. Speaking with Joe Rogan, Peterson said, \u201cI think probably it\u2019s not so much an obsession with gender, it\u2019s a disintegration of categories as a precursor\u2026.
