\u2014Asserted<\/a> that the word \u201cwomen\u201d is being \u201cdeliberately eradicated from common usage.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2014Repeatedly<\/a> asked a trans, nonbinary interview subject about their genitals, though the guest declined to discuss it, and described the interviewee\u2019s child as \u201cit\u201d and \u201chaving no identity\u201d because the parent was choosing to raise the child without assigned gender. \u201cCan I call it \u2018it\u2019? Is it an \u2018it\u2019?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n

\u2014Was accused by transgender author and advocate Janet Mock of seeking to \u201csensationalize\u201d her biography, including asking whether she had disclosed to her boyfriend that she\u2019d once been \u201ca man,\u201d and tweeting<\/a> during his CNN interview with Mock<\/a>, \u201cHow would you feel if you found out the woman you are dating was formerly a man?\u201d and using an on-screen chyron for Mock that read that she \u201cwas a boy until age 18.\u201d Mock never identified as a man and identified as a girl in high school.<\/p>\n

\u2014Ridiculed nonbinary and transgender people when he tweeted<\/a>, \u201cSpeaking as a two-spirit penguin, I find it absolutely disgraceful that you have a assigned a gender-neutral identity to a penguin chick when it may wish to identify itself as male or female\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2014Wrote<\/a> in a column, \u201cMy number one pet hate at the moment is the absurd \u2018gender fluid\u2019 movement, driven by people who don\u2019t wish to be defined as either male or female.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2014Tweeted<\/a>: \u201cI don’t hate the people, I hate the movement. Human beings are male or female. Not whatever they fancy being.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2014In an interview<\/a>, derided his interview subjects, a trans, nonbinary couple, for having a \u201chypothetical\u201d gender identity. In the same interview he said nonbinary children in schools is \u201clike a contagion,\u201d and asked, \u201cIf I decided to identify myself as a different skin color, would you respect that?\u201d and, \u201cIf kids can come in and say they\u2019re not a boy or girl anymore, what else can they say they\u2019re not? Is anything fine? Can I say I\u2019m an elephant?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2014After calls for Morgan to be fired from Good Morning Britain due to his record of transphobic comments, tweeted<\/a>: \u201cI support those who transition, just as I\u2019ve always loudly supported gay rights, but I don\u2019t support the ridiculous notion of 100 genders, and most sensible people agree with me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2014Said nonbinary musician Sam Smith would \u201cwreck<\/a>\u201d the BRIT Awards after it was announced the award show was considering following the lead of the Grammys and the VMAs\u2014both of which had stopped using gendered award categories. \u201cI think it\u2019s great that such time-honored awards should be just wrecked like this because one [person] can\u2019t decide if [they\u2019re] male or female,\u201d Morgan said. Morgan questioned<\/a> the authenticity of Smith\u2019s gender identity, saying that the singer announced they were nonbinary as part of a \u201ctrend or a fad or a craze,\u201d and they did so in order to seek \u201cpopularity.\u201d Morgan then \u201cjoked<\/a>,\u201d \u201cI\u2019m now identifying as Sam Smith so I can get his royalties. It works both ways.\u201d Smith came out as nonbinary in 2019, and had already won dozens of various awards<\/a>, including a Golden Globe, four Grammys, and even a Guiness Word Record for most consecutive weeks in the UK Top 10 Album Charts. <\/p>\n

\u2014Mocked trans people in 2019, declaring<\/a> that he began identifying as \u201ctrans-slender,\u201d and told his co-host: \u201cYou can\u2019t fat shame me because I\u2019m identifying as skinny.
