The plaintiff had never been asked to serve an LGBTQ person, and the anti-LGBTQ legal group<\/a> supporting her was found<\/a> to have manufactured lawsuits to build the case.<\/div>\n

\u2014After President Donald Trump was accused of having had an extra-marital affair with adult film actor Stormy Daniels, Graham claimed it\u2019s \u201cnobody\u2019s business<\/a>.\u201dAfter Donald Trump was found guilty of 34 felonies for election interference and business fraud connected to a coverup of his affair with Daniels, Graham stated<\/a> the former president “has got some problems” but should still be permitted to run for president. After a jury found Trump liable for sexually abusing and defaming E. Jean Carroll, Graham baselessly claimed<\/a>: “Democrats are using the system & changing the law to go after (Trump).”<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u2014Tweeted<\/a> \u201cPray for President Putin today,\u201d just days before Russia\u2019s invasion of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

\u2014Praised<\/a>\u00a0Russian President Vladimir Putin’s law barring dissemination of \u201cpropaganda of nontraditional sexual relations, \u201da statute which effectively banned children from accessing media that presents LGBTQ identities and relationships in a positive or normalizing light.<\/p>\n

\u2014Met <\/a>with Putin in 2015, and praised him for \u201cprotecting Russian young people against homosexual propaganda.\u201d Falsely claimed “homosexuals cannot have children, they can take other people\u2019s children.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2014Met<\/a> with anti-LGBTQ Russian Orthodox Patriarch Kirill and told local media that \u201cmillions of Americans would like [Putin]\u00a0to come and run for president of the United States.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2014Graham supported and praised Putin for\u00a0signing\u00a0legislation<\/a> on 2013 to ban the \u201cpromotion of nontraditional sexual relations to minors,\u201d which, writes Human Rights Watch, is \u201ca reference universally understood to mean a ban on providing children access to information about LGBT people\u2019s lives\u2026 The law has been used to shut down websites that provide valuable information and services to teens across Russia and to bar LGBT support groups from working with youth. But the law\u2019s effects have been much broader: individual mental health professionals have curtailed what they say and what support they give to students, and the law gives the strong imprimatur of the Russian state to the false and discriminatory view that LGBT people are a threat to tradition and the family.\u2026 Its passage coincided with an uptick in often-gruesome vigilante violence against LGBT people in Russia\u2014frequently carried out in the name of protecting Russian values and Russia\u2019s children.\u201d Putin signed legislation in 2021 to constitutionally<\/a> ban same-sex marraige in Russia.<\/p>\n

\u2014Of Russia\u2019s draconian laws against \u201cgay propaganda\u201d<\/a>\u00a0Graham praised Putin: \u201cIsn\u2019t it sad, though, that America\u2019s own morality has fallen so far that on this issue\u2014protecting children from any homosexual agenda or propaganda\u2014Russia\u2019s standard is higher than our own? In my opinion, Putin is right on these issues. Obviously, he may be wrong about many things, but he has taken a stand to protect his nation\u2019s children from the damaging effects of any gay and lesbian agenda. Our president and his attorney general have turned their backs on God and His standards, and many in the Congress are following the administration\u2019s lead. This is shameful. The world used to look to America for moral leadership. But those days are long gone.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2014Said<\/a>\u00a0celebrating LGBTQ+ Pride is like celebrating \u201clying, adultery, or murder.\u201d Graham\u2019s comment came in a Facebook post marking the end of Pride Month. \u201cThis is an entire month set aside to celebrate a lifestyle that God defines as sin.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2014Claimed<\/a> that public schools have no right to \u201cteach our children something that is an affront to God\u201d in his support for Alfonso Cirulli, the mayor of Barnegat Township, New Jersey, who was fighting a state law requiring schools to teach about LGBTQ history.<\/p>\n

\u2014Called out Taylor Swift<\/a> \u201cfor using her platform to try to push the socialist left\u2019s so-called Equality Act, which has nothing to do with equality, but is about pushing the LGBTQ agenda down the throats of the American people.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2014Said<\/a>: \u201cLGBT agenda wants to force everyone to accept & condone their lifestyle which God\u2019s Word defines as sin.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2014When HB2 was rolled back in North Carolina, tweeted<\/a>: \u201cThanks to the gov, people of NC will be exposed to pedophiles & sexually perverted men in women\u2019s public restrooms.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2014In Facebook post<\/a> since deleted, claimed Satan is behind LGBTQ rights and advocacy: \u201cThis is a full-scale assault against Christianity and the followers of Christ. When prayer is banned from the public square, when our President fails to defend biblically defined marriage, and he openly and zealously advocates for gay rights; when legislators rush to overrule existing laws to promote gay marriage; when schools and courts consistently suppress religious freedoms; we know we are locked in a war against the Christian faith, not culture. The architect behind this offensive is none other than Satan himself. The Scripture says that the devil, our archenemy, is bent on as much destruction as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2014Insists that gay and lesbian people cannot have families<\/a>: \u201c[Same-sex marriage] takes the family away and there is no way you can have a family with two females or two males, if you just think biologically how God made us our plumbing is completely different.\u201d<\/p>\n

President Obama said he \u2018couldn\u2019t be prouder\u2019 of Collins, who made the announcement via a Sports Illustrated cover story. First lady Michelle Obama appeared at a fundraising event with Collins and said he \u2018has just made the difference in the lives of so many of our young people.\u2019 It was yet another example of our culture\u2019s dramatic turning away from biblical values and toward embracing homosexuality as a civil right.\u201d<\/p>\n
