\u2014<\/span>Joined<\/a> a fringe coalition (including an \u201cex-gay\u201d organization) to encourage parents to keep their children home on the GLSEN-sponsored annual pro-LGBTQ Day of Silence awareness day in schools nationwide: \u201cDay of Silence equates being anti-harassment with being in favor of homosexual behavior. That is unfair to the millions of people who are respectful and friends with homosexuals, while maintaining traditional views of male and female sexuality.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2014<\/span>Verbally attacked <\/a>a teacher for reading a trans-inclusive children\u2019s book to her students: \u201cThe kindergartners came home very confused, about whether or not you can pick your gender, whether or not they really were a boy or a girl\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2014<\/span>A vocal opponent<\/a> of inclusive military service, claimed allowing gays to serve is merely \u201cthe social agenda of the Democrats\u201d: \u201cThis is a dangerous policy that puts our military at risk and we need to continue to keep our eye on the ball and fight this war on terror. And the last thing we should be doing is using our military as a social experiment, pushing the social agenda of the Democrats.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2014<\/span>Promotes so-called \u201cex-gay\u201d organizations<\/a><\/p>\n

\u2014<\/span>Called<\/a> LGBTQ-inclusive teaching an \u201coutright attack on the religious and moral beliefs of California citizens\u201c that \u201cdisregard(s) all notions of the traditional family unit.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2014<\/span>Flippantly dismissed<\/a> the reality of gender identity and the need for protections, saying, \u201cThis word, gender identity or gender expression, it means expressing your gender whatever you feel that day,\u201d and, \u201cIf I feel like Christie Brinkley, the law is supposed to treat me like I\u2019m Christie Brinkley even though I\u2019m not.
