\u2014Attacked Vice President Kamala Harris<\/a> in a sermon for officiating a 2013 same-sex wedding when she was Attorney General of California, saying: \u201cThese people have an agenda, and one of the things is to get rid of the church, to have abortion on demand, the promotion of all things LBGTQ [sic]\u2026 anybody who\u2019s trying to turn America into Sodom and Gomorrah is not good for this nation, she ain\u2019t good for the state, and she ain\u2019t good for Black folk.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2014Insisted<\/a>: \u201cEverybody knows that a transgendered [sic<\/em>] woman is a man. And everybody knows that a transgendered man is a woman. And we have allowed common sense to go out of the window in the name of political correctness.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2014Claimed<\/a> trans rights \u201chijack\u201d the civil rights movement: \u201cThe language of \u2018civil rights\u2019 shouldn\u2019t be hijacked to give privileges to the politically vocal while taking away freedoms from people disfavored by government…. As you can see, I am African-American. I have been African-American since birth; God made me this way. For the attorney general to equate the legitimate struggle of the civil rights movement to the things that HB2 stands for is embarrassing and is wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2014On being gay<\/a>: \u201cWe\u2019re not talking about some little innocent looking thing that you may see in Glee, two clean cute little boys holding hands acting like two little effeminates and that is what homosexuality is all about and people think that it is something like that when we\u2019re talking about a wicked, perverse lifestyle that destroys people and I think that it\u2019s high time that people who think like we do come out of the closet and let their voices be heard, if not society will continue to go in the toilet.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2014On civil rights<\/a>: \u201cI think that every African American ought to be appalled, ought to be angry, and should begin to wave their fist in the air and declare black power and say to the homosexual lobbyists, the homosexual groups, how dare you compare your wicked, deviant, immoral, self-destructive, anti-human sexual behavior to our beautiful skin color.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2014Tells lesbian blogger Pam Spaulding<\/a>: \u201cPam needs Jesus, when Pam meets the Lord that yearning for a member of the same sex will change \u2026 she\u2019d probably make a fantastic mother, and would enjoy having a husband who was born male\u2014no Chaz Bono business\u2014born male\u2014and meet her man, and rock her world, in the name of the Lord.\u201d<\/p>\n
