The introduction calls same-sex marriage by the epithet \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/read.amazon.com\/kp\/embed?asin=B00JL0PK50&amp;preview=newtab&amp;linkCode=kpe&amp;ref_=cm_sw_r_kb_dp_lSn0FbPA77MXE&amp;tag=thewaspos09-20&amp;reshareId=7GTZ0MKGE2EABSBY4QBC&amp;reshareChannel=system\">sodomitical marriage<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2014As head of a nonprofit that oversees five entities, including Voice of America, Pack installed two anti-LGBTQ people to the board of directors: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2020\/06\/19\/new-directors-at-federal-media-agency-have-ties-to-anti-lgbt-groups.html\">Jonathan Alexandre<\/a>, senior counsel for governmental affairs division at the Liberty Counsel, an anti-LGBTQ legal organization designated a hate group by the SPLC; and anti-transgender activist <a href=\"\/tap\/bethany-kozma\">Bethany Kozma<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014The Open Technology Fund, which Pack oversaw, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vice.com\/en\/article\/jgx5z3\/inside-the-plot-to-kill-the-open-technology-fund\">reallocated funds<\/a> at the organization in such a way as to endanger the lives of LGBTQ people worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014Said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.c-span.org\/video\/?c4888050\/user-clip-michael-pack-lgbtq-issues-harvar\">in a 1993 C-SPAN interview<\/a>: \u201cHarvard University is very concerned to make gay students comfortable but not Christians\u2026.
