Kobach then followed up with a press release<\/a> to further spread disinformation about the nonexistent requirement. Research<\/a> shows fewer than 1 in 3 transgender and nonbinary youth found their home to be affirming of their gender. <\/span>LGBTQ youth are 120% more likely<\/a> to experience homelessness.<\/p>\n

\u2014Submitted<\/a> a letter of complaint to the\u00a010th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals\u00a0chief judge arguing against using a person’s authentic pronoun, baselessly and falsely claiming:\u00a0\u201cThe courtroom is no place to dismantle science, butcher the English language and deny constitutional rights in order to spare an individual\u2019s feelings.\u201d<\/div>\n

\u2014While standing opposed to marriage equality,<\/span> cited<\/a> polygamy and drug use as comparable \u201csituations\u201d that society condemns.<\/p>\n
